I was born and raised in Alliance, Nebraska and attended Doane University on a football scholarship. Outside of the office, I spend a considerable amount of time in the outdoors enjoying nature at its finest. A place I visit often is our home on Lake McConaughy, and when I have any free time you can find me doing home improvements or working on random projects!

As empty nesters, my wife Cayle and I hope to discover more of America. We have two beautiful daughters, Nellie and Emma, who are starting their careers, and I now get to call myself a fatherin-law to Jared and grandpa to our first grandson Eli! Our goldendoodles have captured our hearts and become part of our family! Outside of the office, I enjoy cruising the countryside on my Harley, hiking, golfing, skiing, snowshoeing and spending time outdoors.
