Before joining Townsend, Jonathan had been running his own consulting business and primarily worked with dental and orthodontic practices. Jonathan has been in the finance industry since 2007 and holds multiple industry designations, which include Certified Financial Planner™. Jonathan is a member of our investment committee. I now call Denver home, where I live in the Berkeley neighborhood with my bride, baby girl Lillian and two dogs. I am an avid outdoorsman, so you can often find me taking advantage of Colorado’s beautiful landscape, hiking, camping, and snowshoeing. As a family, we enjoy exploring outside of Colorado, including everything from road trips through the western U.S. to international adventures

Kaitlin has spent her career working in many aspects of the finance industry, bringing with her a wide array of skills and experiences. Prior to being a Financial Planner, she was a stellar asset to our client services department handling asset transfers, new business, assisting clients in preparing retirement paperwork. Because of her core industry knowledge and vast experience within the company, Kaitlin excels at developing and updating retirement plans, assisting advisors and having conversations with clients. Katlin holds the Certified Financial Planner Professional™ and is a member of our investment committee. Kaitlin@TownsendRetirement.com I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Colorado at a young age. I enjoy spending time with my family, as we are very close. My husband, Chad and I have two boys (Brooks and Maverik), a yellow lab Odin and our great pyrenees pointer mix rescue, Loki. I enjoy playing tennis, golf, racquetball and volleyball. My favorite to watch is definitely football – I like sports a lot! Outdoor activities that I enjoy are boating and all things that go with it: skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, kneeboarding and camping – I love being at the lake and travelling with my family.

A.J.’s primary role is to assist the advisors in developing and updating retirement plans for new and existing clients, answering client questions, investment research and placing trades. A.J. has been in the financial industry for over 10 years, and holds the Certified Financial Planner Professional™ designation. A.J. is a member of our investment committee.

I was born in Kokomo, Indiana. Shortly after being born we moved to Brandon, England (UK) where I lived for five years or so before landing in Arizona, at Luke Air Force Base (father is retired Air Force). I sometimes miss the sound of F-16 fighter jets flying over our home. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Global Business Management & Leadership. Before graduating from ASU I attended Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin to pursue a basketball scholarship, and studied meteorology. I try to take advantage of all of the activities Colorado has to offer through the seasons. As a new parent to two twin girls, Emery and Raegan, I look forward to future opportunities snowboarding, golfing, riding my motorcycle and exploring more of Colorado with my wife Kelly and little girls.

My career path brought me to Colorado where my husband Daryl, dog and I call home. Most of my family is out of state in Wyoming, South Dakota, and my in-laws are East Coast in New York, Virginia and Georgia. I enjoy watching NBA basketball and NASCAR while drinking craft beer! I’ve enjoy gardening at home in my spare time.
