Drew Hayworth, CFA®

Drew is a key person in Townsend’s investment process and trading function, performing securities analyses, manager due diligence and macro assessments. Prior to his position with Townsend, Drew served as the vice president and analyst of Highgate Securities Investments, and equity portfolio manager at Gallacher Capital Management, LLC. In 2004, he co-founded Madison Street Partners, LLC, in Denver, Colorado, serving as lead portfolio manager for the Madison Street Master Fund, SPC, a long/short equity strategy with a focus on the financial, consumer, technology and media sectors. I was born and raised in North Carolina. I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee on a golf scholarship. In my free time, I enjoy playing golf with my son, fishing for big redfish in the low country of South Carolina and taking our two English Cream Golden Retrievers Max and Bentley for runs and hikes. My son and I are also avid baseball fans. Go Yankees!
