Jeff is the CEO and founder of Townsend, which was established in 1990. He is a well-known financial educator and the author of The Master Plan: Retirement Strategies for the Best of Your Life and The Road to Retirement: Everything You Need to Know for a Successful Retirement. Jeff brings with him over thirty years of experience specializing in retirement planning and investment management. He has been a guest on 9NEWS, WB2 News, CBS4, KMGH-7 News, and has been a contributor to Money magazine. As empty nesters, my wife Cayle and I hope to discover more of America. We have two beautiful daughters, Nellie and Emma, who are starting their careers, and I now get to call myself a father in-law to Jared and grandpa to our first grandson Eli! Our goldendoodles have captured our hearts and become part of our family! Outside of the office, I enjoy cruising the countryside on my Harley, hiking, golfing, skiing, snowshoeing and spending time outdoors.

I was born and raised in Alliance, Nebraska and attended Doane University on a football scholarship. Outside of the office, I spend a considerable amount of time outdoors enjoying nature at its finest. A place I visit often is my lake house at Lake McConaughy.

John has spent 31 years in investment management for high-net-worth and institutional clients. As a former senior vice president and partner of Aspen-based Obermeyer Wood, he was responsible for the firm’s global equity strategy and provided the firm’s equity portfolio management. John has also been a key person in building several investment management businesses. John has a background in accounting and finance having earned his MBA from Arizona State University, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (2000) and Certified Public Accountant (2002) credentials. John is the recipient of numerous academic and professional awards and has been a regular source of opinion for major financial news outlets including CNBC, Fox Business, Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and Grant’s Interest Rate Observer.

I was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to Colorado after I graduated high school. I love the challenges of investment markets, but apart from work I enjoy outdoor activities, especially skiing, fishing, tennis and walking our dog Bridget. I also love staying home — cooking, reading, and playing board and card games with my wife and three girls whenever I get the chance.

Anthony brings more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, investment operations, and financial services leadership. Prior to joining Townsend Retirement & Investment Advisors, he served as Senior Vice President and Director of Investment Operations for Clarfeld Citizens Private Wealth, where he led major operational initiatives, including a successful $1 billion platform conversion and the onboarding of more than $10 billion in assets. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner and Director of Investment Operations at Clarfeld Financial Advisors, helping build the operational infrastructure that supported the firm’s long-term growth and success.

Anthony earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has served on both the TD Ameritrade Institutional Advisory Board and the Charles Schwab Institutional Operations Advisory Board and was recognized as a Forty Under Forty honoree by the Business Council of Westchester.

I enjoy spending time with family, which is growing by the day. Between my husband and I, we have 6 grown children and 12 grandchildren (and counting). I am a native to Colorado and grew up in a large Italian family. So having large family gatherings is normal for me. I also enjoy summertime in Colorado as my husband, Mark and I will take our 5th wheel and head to the Mountains to enjoy the beauty and relaxation from the mountain air. After all this, I do still find time to work and passionately love helping each and every one of our clients. They are like family!

Mark is a financial advisor who joined the financial industry in 1989. Mark has a wide range of knowledge and experience covering multiple decades. I’m a native to Colorado, so growing up here I have spent a great deal of my time enjoying the outdoors and everything our beautiful state offers. I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and just about anything else that gets me outdoors. Between my wife, Terri, and I we have 6 grown children and 12 grandchildren (and counting). We are blessed to have a wonderful, blended family. My wife, and I also enjoy taking our 5th Wheel, in the summertime, to enjoy the beauty and relaxation that the Colorado mountains offer.

Drew has been a financial advisor with Townsend since 2014 and has over 20 years of experience within the financial industry. Drew is passionate about building and retaining relationships as he helps clients achieve their financial goals by listening and helping to develop a plan that is customized for the client. Drew is a chartered retirement planning counselor and is a member of our investment committee.

I was born and raised in Nebraska. I attended Doane University and was a member of the football and golf teams. My wife Anna and I have two sons, Austin and Connor who are active in a number of sports which keeps us busy. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, golfing, and hiking with our family which includes our golden retriever Kiwi.

Steve joined Townsend as a Financial Advisor, bringing with him comprehensive financial planning experience from both large and independent companies. Steve also possesses 15+ years of leadership experience which afforded him the opportunity to coach and develop a diverse group of individuals to help them achieve their professional goals. His leadership and financial industry experience has enabled him to build lasting relationships and help clients reach their financial goals. Steve values the importance of relationships built on trust, respect and integrity, and has a passion for helping clients achieve their retirement milestones. Rick joined Townsend as a Financial Advisor after 10 years of working as an advisor for other firms. His past experience provides him with a great depth of financial planning knowledge. Rick works with clients to help them achieve their long term goals and bring into focus areas of financial planning they might not be thinking about. He prides himself in building long lasting relationships and working with multiple generations of families. I graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Business Finance and Economics. Outside of work I love to spend time with my girls: my wife Jennie, daughters Ella and Ivy, and our three dogs Clara, Sophie and Mikkaa. When we are not at a dance activity for our daughters, we like to spend time outside barbequing with friends in the summer, or having family movie night in the winter. Jennie and I have lived in Idaho, California, and Arizona before moving to Colorado in 2014. I am always up for trying something new and have recently began bow hunting and playing ice hockey.

Robin is the newest member of the Townsend Advisory team. She joined Townsend in January 2026 with over 8 years of experience in the finance industry, most recently serving as an Associate Advisor and Senior Client Services Associate. With a strong client focus and extensive industry experience, Robin adds valuable expertise to the Townsend team.

Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, I moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado, where I earned a master’s degree in finance. I have also worked as a sports reporter for SB Nation, ESPN, The Denver Post, and Mile High Sports. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, running, yoga, cooking, and attending concerts and sporting events. Go Broncos! Go CU Buffs! Actually, I root for just about all Colorado’s sports teams.

Drew is a key person in Townsend’s investment process and trading function, performing securities analyses, manager due diligence and macro assessments. Prior to his position with Townsend, Drew served as the vice president and analyst of Highgate Securities Investments, and equity portfolio manager at Gallacher Capital Management, LLC. In 2004, he co-founded Madison Street Partners, LLC, in Denver, Colorado, serving as lead portfolio manager for the Madison Street Master Fund, SPC, a long/short equity strategy with a focus on the financial, consumer, technology and media sectors. Drew was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (2000) designation in September 2000.

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee on a golf scholarship. In my free time, I enjoy playing golf with my son, fishing for big redfish in the low country of South Carolina and taking our two English Cream Golden Retrievers Max and Bentley for runs and hikes. Sallie holds a Juris Doctor in Law and has practiced as an attorney in California and New York. Sallie is not licensed to practice law in Colorado nor is she registered with Osaic Wealth, Inc. Sallie’s role at Townsend is to review clients’ existing estate plans, if they have them, or to inform clients of plans they should consider putting in place for asset protection, probate avoidance and tax minimization. Sallie assists with the creation and development of clients’ plans by collaborating with the client’s attorney (or Townsend’s preferred estate planning attorney) to help ensure their plan is successfully implemented. Sallie is passionate about educating clients on the importance of estate planning and helping them prepare for the distribution of their estate.

Sallie has obtained her designation as a Certified Professional Retirement Coach (CPRC). A Retirement Coach will help you explore all aspects of designing a dynamic and rewarding retirement lifestyle and will serve to guide you towards implementing a plan of action. Broadly speaking, retirement coaching is the process of helping you prepare for and transition into everyday retirement life.

I grew up in Minnesota but left for the West a few years after college. I now call Colorado home, where I live in the Applewood neighborhood with my bride Emily and our children, Lily and Levi. I am an avid outdoorsman, so you can often find me taking advantage of Colorado’s beautiful landscape, hiking, camping, and snowshoeing. As a family, we enjoy exploring outside Colorado, from road trips through the western U.S. to international adventures.

Greg Graham is a Financial Planner at Townsend Retirement with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Greg is passionate about helping individuals and families make informed financial decisions, achieve their financial goals, and prepare for a successful retirement. Throughout his career, Greg has specialized in retirement income strategies, Social Security and Medicare planning, and comprehensive financial planning. Known for his approachable style and ability to simplify complex financial topics, he is committed to building lasting relationships and helping clients feel confident about their financial future. Greg earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Denver and holds the Certified Financial Planner® and the Chartered Financial Consultant® designations.

When I’m not helping clients plan for the future, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Katie, and our two children. Staying active is an important part of my life, and you’ll often find me running, skiing, or enjoying Colorado’s outdoors. Scott has more than 36 years of experience in the Investment and Financial Services industry. His primary role is assisting advisors develop and update retirement plans for new and existing clients, answering client questions, investment research, and trading. Over the course of his career, he has been Sr. Institutional Equity and Derivatives Trader, Financial Advisor, Branch Operations Manager and Territory Sales Coach.

He holds B.S. degrees in Management and Finance from Oklahoma State University, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and holds several industry licenses.

I have lived in Colorado since 2005 and reside in Lafayette enjoying all things Colorado including hiking, snowshoeing, fishing and mountain road trips.

I have two grown sons who also love hunting and fishing.

Tyler is a securities trader who joined the financial industry in 2017. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and is currently working toward his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. With a strong foundation in trading and investment management, Tyler plays a key role in executing trades and supporting the firm’s investment strategies.

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Colorado at a young age. I enjoy spending time with my family, as we are very close. My husband, Chad and I have two boys (Brooks and Maverik), a yellow lab Odin and our great pyrenees pointer mix rescue, Loki. I enjoy playing tennis, golf, racquetball and volleyball. My favorite to watch is definitely football – I like sports a lot! Outdoor activities that I enjoy are boating and all things that go with it: skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, knee boarding and camping – I love being at the lake and travelling with my family.

Trina is a client service and operations professional with experience supporting clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring accurate efficient service in the finance industry. Her background includes client relationship management, account support, operations, and administrative coordination. She takes pride in communicating clearly, staying organized in fast-past environments, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, the outdoors and spending time with my family and friends — which includes my fun and loving 2-year-old grandson.

Kiara’s role helps Townsend’s Financial Planners and Client Services Specialists with their daily tasks so they are able to focus on helping our clients.

I grew up in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and moved to Colorado just over two years ago after graduating from the University of Vermont. I’m happiest outside and love camping, backcountry skiing, biking, and surfing. When I’m not outdoors, you’ll usually find me cooking or planning my next trip. I love traveling, whether it’s to a new beach or a new mountain, and getting to explore new places.

My husband and I spend most of our spare time watching our two boys, Jace and Cade play baseball. I don’t mind it at all though, I love spending time with my family, both on and off the field. You could say my hobbies are my boys, I am proud to be actively involved in their lives. When I’m not at the baseball fields I enjoy going on walks and cooking, I particularly like making and eating Italian food … my favorite! I attended Arvada High School, and was a part of the last graduating class of the Redskins. I am happy to still call Arvada home.

I’m a proud Colorado native, born and raised in northwest Denver. Growing up here gave me a deep appreciation for community and the beauty of the outdoors. I’m also the very proud parent of six amazing children, five daughters and one son, who fill my life with joy and purpose. Family is everything to me, and being a parent is truly my greatest blessing. In my spare time, I enjoy watching baseball and being outside with the kids, whether it’s a walk, a game of catch, or simply enjoying the sunshine together. I am a Colorado native and grew up in Arvada; my husband, CJ and I also raised our 4 kids in Arvada. I started working for Townsend in 2010 in Client Relations. CJ’s job has moved us to Scottsdale, AZ where I work in a remote, part time role where my job is to call our clients and check in with them. We have 4 children, 3 of which are married and currently have 7 grandchildren with more to come. I love hiking, being outside, college football, hanging out at the pool, traveling but probably most happy just CJ & I being with our kids, their spouses and grandkids.

Christine’s primary responsibility is document control, including both paper and electronic files. She also provides our administration staff support by answering incoming calls and directing them to the correct person.

Nothing gives me greater joy and pride than motherhood; the ability to grow and learn more about myself and the world by raising and watching my child flourish into another amazing, independent strong spirit. It’s pure selflessness and love. I thoroughly enjoy the masochistic pain and the natural high associated with intense workouts, followed by debilitating soreness. Solitude is my best friend when I need to recharge. I might secretly hug trees and find their Zen-ness awesome – nature brings me happiness! Beer, wine, bourbon … yes, please.

Savanna has been in the events industry for the past decade. She spent the past two years planning statewide educator conferences and before that she spent time working at Regis University, where she is an alumna. Savanna is a Colorado native, having grown up right by Sloan’s Lake in Edgewater. She has a French Bulldog that she adores and when she isn’t spending time with him she is walking around a beautiful park in the city, trying new coffee shops or restaurants or attending a game to support any Denver sports team. I was born and raised in Iowa, but have called Colorado home since 1991. I am married (Greg) and we have two children. Our son Chase is a University of Colorado graduate, lives in New York and works for J.P. Morgan Chase, and our daughter Camryn is a Colorado State University graduate and works for the Denver Broncos. As a family we enjoy spending time together at home, visiting family/friends and spoiling our pups: Wilson (yikes, seemed like a good idea at the time) and Mims (yes, we are die-hard Broncos fans). In my spare time I love to cook, take long walks, watch football or movies and sip wine with the girlfriends. My motto is: always find the bright side in life.

In my free time when I’m not on the course trying to play golf or laying down stripes on my lawn, you can find me with family and friends.

Mark’s role as a project manager is to collaborate with staff to identify and complete various operational and technology initiatives while working on his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Additionally, he works with staff to develop and strengthen standard operating procedures to reduce pain points drive efficiencies. Mark has been involved in the securities industry since 2013.

I’m originally from Ohio and attended Ohio State University where I completed my degree in Economics. My wife Shadden and I moved to Colorado in 2016 and love living an active lifestyle in the mountains. We love spending time in the mountains and my daughter Alia loves to go camping, hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding and traveling. When not spending time with my family you can find me mountain biking, golfing, hiking or backpacking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. In my downtime I love reading, playing board games and cooking with my family.
